The former ABC News And Good morning America The meteorologist is no longer with the company, a source told PEOPLE.
Before his official departure, the anchor was reportedly temporarily banned from the show’s New York City studio due to alleged inappropriate behavior, but he continued to report on the weather from off-site locations, according to Page Six.
PEOPLE has reached out to Marciano for comment. A spokesperson for ABC News had no comment when contacted by PEOPLE.
Marciano was ABC News‘ senior meteorologist in July 2014 and has since continued his work as a weather reporter on Good morning AmericaIn September of the same year, he made his official debut on the morning show.

News of his firing comes two years after his ex-wife, Eryn Marciano, filed for divorce after 11 years of marriage.
The weather reporter told PEOPLE at the time in a statement released shortly after the divorce was made public that the couple had been going through difficult times.
“The last few years have been very difficult,” he wrote at the time. “I didn’t want this and tried to save the marriage, but unfortunately we are getting a divorce. My focus now is on my children.”
The couple married in November 2010 and have a daughter, Madelynn, and a son, Mason. While their divorce proceedings are ongoing, the former couple treated their children to a spring break at Disney World in Orlando, Florida, where they shared family photos and a video from their April vacation.

“Spring Break @waltdisneyworld – despite the chaos, it was a much needed quality time for the kids – their joy is, as we say, #magical,” he wrote in the caption.

Shortly afterwards, the meteorologist treated himself to a break on the beach and shared with his followers on Instagram how he mastered these difficult times.
“In times of crisis, fly a kite,” he wrote in his Instagram stories, sharing a photo of his feet up with the beach in the background and his kite in the sky, at the end of a long string.
