Micha from Red Dead Redemption 2 is without a doubt one of the most hated characters in computer game history.

However, a recent discovery has revealed that the corrupt gunslinger was actually much younger than players originally thought.

I guess a life of betraying your friends isn’t good for your skin, is it?

Almost six years have passed since Red Dead Redemption 2 was first released and its popularity shows no signs of slowing down.

Hordes of players are still flocking to the Rockstar title and thanks to a few attentive fans, new features, secrets and Easter eggs are regularly discovered.

This was definitely the case recently with a user on r/RDR2 who found a strange newspaper clipping in Micah’s old camp just outside of Strawberry.

The article has the slogan “Farm Lyncher Wanted” and reports on the murder committed by one Micah Bell and his son Micah Bell (don’t ask).

The father-son duo brutally murdered a couple and have been on the run from the police ever since.

However, it was the age information that caused some confusion for the original author when he asked, “So, Micah has a son?”

That is not the case. The article states that Micah Sr. was 38 years old at the time of the murders and his son (the Micah we unfortunately know) was 17.

Based on the date shown in the newspaper clipping above compared to the year Red Dead Redemption 2 plays, it appears that Micah was just 39 years old at the time of the game’s events.

That Micah turned out the way he did is perhaps not surprising when his time as father and son friends consisted of murder.

However, it is quite surprising to learn his age.
