“Real Life Fiction” competes with SB19 documentary at the box office

“Real Life Fiction” competes with SB19 documentary at the box office

Curtis-Smith’s character, on the other hand, is described as “a muse (of Pascual’s character) on and off screen,” blurring the lines between reality and fiction.

Real Life Fiction is said to “shed light on the psyche and the limits to which actors push themselves and those around them in order to find brilliance in madness.”

Epy Quizon also plays Paco’s strict but considerate manager.

Journalists and vloggers who saw the film were impressed by Pascual and Curtis-Smith’s willingness to show more on screen than usual.

The film has been given an R-16 rating by the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB), meaning it is suitable for viewers 16 and older. That’s a much better rating than X, which means a film is not approved for screening. Recently, the MTRCB gave a PG rating to And So It Begins, a documentary about former Vice President Leni Robredo’s presidential campaign. It was directed by Ramona Diaz, known for her documentary Imelda about First Lady Imelda Marcos. And So It Begins was originally scheduled to be released on August 25.

In recent days, there has been a flood of X-rated (banned!) documentaries, including Cinemalaya’s acclaimed film “Alipato at Muog,” which was also rejected by the MTRCB.

Hopefully, this “embargo period” will end soon and will not affect the submissions to the upcoming Sinag Maynila Film Festival from September 4 to 8. Seven documentaries have been submitted.

Vivamax will captivate its fans with two hot erotic offerings this August. Vivamax films are not subject to MTRCB rating.

Currently streaming exclusively on Vivamax is Rodante Y. Pajemna, Jr.’s “Ang Kapitbahay,” starring Christine Bermas, who continues to shine in Vivamax films despite starring in the company’s first film, “Unang Tikim.”

In “Ang Kapitbahay,” Bermas plays Rose, who awakens the lustful desires of her young neighbor Alex (Clifford Pusing), which leads him to stalk her.

Rose also has her eye on Alex and wants to give him his first sexual experience in his life. She demands that he help her extort a huge sum of money from her powerful friend, known only as the “General”.

She promises Alex a future together if he agrees.

Will Alex agree to their plans? Can Rose be trusted? And who exactly is the general?

Another entertaining original from Vivamax is “Private Tutor”.

In this film, Zsara Laxamana plays Joy, a hard-working public school teacher who is in a long-term relationship with mechanic Vigo (VJ Vera). To earn more money, Joy takes a tutoring job with Erica (Christy Imperial), a high school student who wants to learn more than just academic knowledge.

She wants to explore carnal pleasures.

Erica’s father Gordon (Mark Dionisio), a wealthy widower, also desires Joy, which leads to a situation in which Joy ends up pleasing both father and daughter.

What happens if Vigo finds out?
