The Edge of War and Love is an intense and fast-paced story filled with chases, kidnappings and near-death experiences. The characters are complex and impressive and have their own struggles and emotions. Bin, for example, is torn between his family, his love and his duty, while Anishka suffers from the ongoing war between their two home countries. Nicoletta Glod does a great job of describing the effects of war on ordinary people and its destructive nature. Throughout the book, the characters discuss the complexities of war, different cultures and traditions from different parts of the world and the history of different countries. Although the trio are meeting for the first time, they have a natural chemistry and work perfectly together. I really enjoyed the plot and the intriguing characters, which made the book a pleasure to read. The author did a fantastic job and I look forward to reading more books by her.”
