Quidditch Champions brings Triwizard schools into the action

Harry Potter: Quidditch Master not only takes us to Hogwarts, but also allows us to play Quidditch in the other Triwizard schools, Beauxbatons and Durmstrang. In keeping with the locations, there will also be two stadiums for the fantastic sport based on the magical regions.

The PlayStation Blog revealed the involvement of schools in Quidditch Championand this is the first time we see their Quidditch pitches.

“Of course, a lot of the inspiration came directly from the Goblet of Fire “The film gives us the only visual insight into the students and cultures of two of Europe’s greatest wizarding schools,” said creative director Farren Fox. “We wondered how students from these schools would approach Quidditch.”

Beauxbatons has a glamorous, picturesque arena with the backdrop of the French Pyrenees. It looks prestigious with “perfectly manicured” lawns, pools surrounding the arena and elaborate stands for spectators. It seems the perfect stage for a Triwizard Game in Harry Potter: Quidditch Master.

As you might expect, Durmstrang is the complete opposite. It’s based on Northern Europe and set in a harsh, cold Nordic landscape, but features a pretty depiction of the Aurora Borealis in the sky. Set at night, you’ll see flames flickering on the board, mountains in the distance, and an epic Nordic ship floating in the water.

Of course, Viktor Krum and Fleur Delacour will be on these schools’ teams. Krum might be hard to beat, as he is the Seeker for the Bulgarian national team. You can choose Hogwarts, Beauxbatons, or Durmstrang in the game’s Career Mode if you’re aiming for the Triwizard Quidditch Cup.

Harry Potter: Quidditch Master will be released on September 3rd for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (system requirements here). The full game will be available on day one for all PlayStation Plus subscribers. The Switch version will be released later during the holiday season. There will be standard and deluxe editions.
