Two months after its theatrical release, Kalki 2898 AD is all set for its online streaming debut. It has been announced that the film, starring Prabhas, will be available on both Prime Video and Netflix. Prime Video will air the Telugu version directed by Nag Ashwin, while Netflix will offer viewers the Hindi translated version.

Prabhas was praised for his convincing portrayal of the bounty hunter Bhairava, delivering an impressive performance. Talking about the film, Prabhas said, “Working on Kalki 2898 AD with a visionary director like Naga and an exceptional cast was truly exciting. The film not only pushes the boundaries of storytelling with its blend of mythology and futuristic elements but also delves deep into the complexities of human nature. Portraying Bhairava, a character driven by strength and conviction, was incredibly rewarding. After all the love Kalki 2898 AD has received from audiences in theatres, I can’t wait for its world premiere on Prime Video. I hope viewers will have as much fun watching it as we did making it.”

Kalki 2898 AD, starring Prabhas, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan, released on June 27. The film received a fantastic response from the audience and grossed over Rs 1000 crore worldwide. Earlier, Amitabh Bachchan took to social media to express his gratitude for the film’s success. “T 5062 – the essence of KALKI resonates inside and out… and my heartfelt gratitude,” he wrote. Fans are now eagerly waiting for the sequel to Kalki.
