LANSING, Michigan (WLNS) – Potter Park Zoo has announced its 2025 Calendar Photo Contest and invites all photographers and photo enthusiasts to participate.
Persons aged 18 and over are eligible to participate.
Requirements/eligibility and rules:

Open to participants aged 18 and over.

Photographs must be taken at Potter Park Zoo between 2023 and 2024 in landscape format and submitted as high-resolution JPG files.

Each photographer can win in up to two categories.

The photos will be judged and voted on by the Potter Park Zoo team.
How to participate:

Entrants may submit their photos by emailing them to Heath Thurman with “Photo Contest” in the subject line.

The winners of the competition will receive:

Recognition: The winning photos will be shown on the zoo’s social media channels.

Featured spot: Selected photos will be included in the 2025 Potter Park Zoo Calendar.

Special bonus: The photographer of the cover photo receives a free zoo membership!
The winners will be announced on October 1st. The last day to register for the competition is September 7th, 2024.
