About Polaroid
Polaroid was founded in 1937 by Edwin Land as an icon of innovation and engineering. The company’s introduction of the Polaroid Land camera in 1947, which marked the beginning of instant photography, and the subsequent launch of the groundbreaking Polaroid SX-70 camera in 1972, along with many more cameras, cemented Polaroid’s status as a technological pioneer and cultural phenomenon during its heyday. However, by the turn of the century, the company was faced with new realities related to the rapid rise of digital technology and ceased production of instant film in 2008. This was short-lived, however; a dedicated group of instant film enthusiasts saved the last Polaroid factory in the Netherlands under the name “The Impossible Project”, paving the way for the eventual rebirth of the original “Polaroid” brand in the years that followed.

Today, Polaroid strives to unlock the beauty in everyday life with instant photography tools that enable creatives everywhere to capture meaningful moments. With recent launches such as the world’s smallest instant camera, the Polaroid Go camera, and the world’s first instant camera with built-in manual controls, the Polaroid I-2 camera, the company we’ve known and loved for over 80 years is once again rooted in the spirit of analog innovation for the modern age.

About Dr. Martens
The first pair of Dr. Martens boots rolled off the production line on April 1, 1960. With its signature yellow stitching, grooved sole and heel loop, it was a working man’s boot, initially worn by postmen and policemen; comfortable, durable and lightweight compared to its competitors of the time. Throughout Dr. Martens’ history, the brand has been adopted and infiltrated by a wide variety of individuals, musicians, youth cultures and tribes. These are the people who stand out from the crowd and their journey of self-expression has always been accompanied by a pair of DMs.
The simple silhouette allows each pair to be customised. On a practical level, their renowned durability and comfort make them the ideal footwear for the world of concerts and street fashion. On an emotional level, they are a sign of attitude and empowerment. The Northamptonshire factory where it all began still exists today in the village of Wollaston. A special range of ‘Made in England’ products are manufactured here by a small, close-knit team of people trained in traditional shoemaking, following a process that hasn’t changed since our first pair six decades ago.
