Pokémon Go Twitch Drop Times for World Championship Codes

Pokemon Go Twitch Drops are available to spectators at this year’s Pokémon World Championships.

In addition to the in-game event “Pokémon World Championship 2024”, you can also Pokemon Go The contest’s page on Twitch awards codes that reward Timed Research with encounters with both meta and event-specific Pokémon, as well as an in-game avatar t-shirt.

The catch is that the different rewards all have their own unique sources, so this guide will explain how to get all the Twitch codes over the course of the weekend and what times you need to tune in to get them.

How to get Pokémon World Championship Twitch Drops

There are three different types of rewards during the Pokémon World Championships.

Official Twitch Drop Codes

There are two Twitch drops to be won by watching official Pokémon World Championship streams throughout the course of the competition. To enter, you must:

  1. Connect your Pokémon Trainer Club account to Twitch by visiting the official Pokémon website.
  2. On the first and/or second day, watch the Pokémon Go stream for 30 minutes (see the start times later in the guide).
  3. Visit your Twitch Drop Inventory to confirm the drop.
  4. Return to the rewards section of the official Pokemon site to receive the code.
  5. Redeem the code on the Pokémon Go code redemption page.

To clarify: There are to win two Twitch drops from the official stream — the first (with a Sableye encounter Timed Research) on the Fridayand the second (with branched timed research) on the Saturday.

Drop Codes for Partner Co-Streams

In addition to two Timed Research codes from official streams, you can also get a code with an additional Timed Research (rewarding an encounter with a costumed Pikachu during the Snorkeling event) by Watch a partner co-stream for 30 minutes over the course of the three-day competition. (Pokémon TCG Live players can also win a Spheal Appeal deck box, coin, and card sleeves for watching for 60 minutes.)

Note that linking accounts still follows the same process as the official Twitch streaming steps, so make sure you do that and then check your Twitch Drop inventory to get the code.

In addition to unique Timed Research codes that you assign to your Twitch inventory, only day one An additional code will be displayed in the broadcast itself, which all players can redeem. As a reward, you will receive an in-game T-shirt for your avatar. Those who take part in the competition in person can also secure an exclusive version in a scavenger hunt.

Update (August 16, 7 p.m. ET): The code is A6NEWU63K9AU8 (above Leekduck on X). Note that this code may expire throughout the day. When it does, tune in to the show or check out LeekDuck’s latest posts to find more released codes you can redeem.

Pokémon Go Twitch drop times in your time zone

The stream begins every day at 9:00 a.m. HST (Hawaii Standard Time), which is the corresponding time in your area.

Friday, August 16th Stream times

The stream times on the first day are as follows:

  • 12pm to 10pm PDT for the west coast of North America
  • 5:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. EDT the next day for the east coast of North America
  • 20:00 to 6:00 BST the next day for Great Britain
  • 9pm to 7am CEST the next day for Western Europe/Paris
  • 4 o’clock on 17 August until 14:00 JST for Tokyo

The first official Timed Research drop, broadcast code giveaway, and co-stream partner drop are all available on this day.

Saturday, August 17 Stream times

The stream times on the second day are as follows:

  • 12pm to 10pm PDT for the west coast of North America
  • 5:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. EDT the next day for the east coast of North America
  • 20:00 to 6:00 BST the next day for Great Britain
  • 9pm to 7am CEST the next day for Western Europe/Paris
  • 4 o’clock on 18 August until 14:00 JST for Tokyo

The second official Timed Research drop and the Co-Stream Partner drop are both available on this day.

Sunday, August 1st8 Stream times

The stream of the last day, which runs on the main Pokémon Twitch channel and not on the Pokemon Go-special program— runs for one hour only at the following times:

  • 12pm to 1pm PDT for the west coast of North America
  • 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. EDT for the east coast of North America
  • 20:00 to 21:00 BST for Great Britain
  • 9pm to 10pm CEST for Western Europe/Paris
  • 4-5am JST on 19 August for Tokyo

At the time of writing, no Twitch Drops are available on this final day of the contest.
