When preparing for your fantasy football drafts, it’s important to know which players to target and which to avoid. The amount of information available can be overwhelming. A good way to condense the data and determine which players to draft and which to leave to your leaguemates is to use our expert consensus fantasy football rankings compared to average draft position (ADP) in fantasy football. Fantasy Football Players on New Teams (2024)

Zack Moss (CIN)

Moss used his starting spot with the Colts last year to potentially make the Bengals’ starting lineup. In the seven games he started and played at least 50% of the snaps, he finished with 21.1 touches and 98.5 total yards per game. Moss should handle early downs in Cincinnati this season after ranking 15th in forced missed tackles per attempt and 18th in yards after contact per attempt last year (per Fantasy Points Data). Chase Brown could hurt his work in the passing game, as Moss only ranked 41st in yards per route run and 48th in targets per route run. Even if his usage in the passing game is limited, he’s still a talking point for RB2/3 as an early down back in one of the league’s best offenses.

Devin Singletary (NYC)

Devin Singletary steps in as the Giants’ new lead back and has big shoes to fill with Saquon Barkley’s departure. Last year with the Texans, he proved again that he can be a solid starting tailback in the NFL when he stepped in midseason to take the starting spot away from Dameon Pierce in Houston. From Weeks 9-18, he averaged 19 touches and 86.6 total yards as the RB21 in fantasy points per game. Singletary continues to be an efficient rusher. Last year, he was 19th in explosive run rate and 22nd in forced missed tackles per attempt (per Fantasy Points Data). While the Giants aren’t the most attractive landing spot, Singletary should be eyeing RB2 production as the team’s lead cow.

Austin Ekeler (WAS)

Austin Ekeler’s 2023 season was a disappointment no matter how you look at it. Ekeler suffered a sprained ankle in Week 1, causing him to miss three games and potentially have a muted performance for the rest of the season. After returning from the injury, he averaged 16.1 touches and 69.2 total yards as the RB28 in fantasy points per game. It was a dramatic fall from grace for a back who had never finished outside the top 9 running backs in fantasy since 2018 (RB28). Ekeler retained some of his passing skills, ranking eighth in target share and 19th in yards per route run (among 60 qualified backs according to Fantasy Points Data), but his running skills declined. Among 49 qualified backs, Ekeler ranked 38th in yards after contact per attempt and 46th in forced missed tackles per attempt. Landing in Washington with Anthony Lynn was one of the better scenarios this offseason. He likely forms a frustrating committee with Brian Robinson in an Antonio Gibson-plus role for Washington.
