Caitlin Clark is using the remaining days of the WNBA break to visit Yankee Stadium.

The Indiana Fever star wore a Yankees jersey and was able to team up with Aaron Judge before Saturday’s doubleheader in the Bronx between the Texas Rangers and the New York Yankees.

Erik Boland from Newsday Renowned Yankees first baseman Anthony Rizzo was allowed to take a photo with Clark, who will take a tour of the stadium and meet other club members.

Since the Yankees do not display last names on the back of their home jerseys, the number 22 that Clark wears corresponds to her Fever number and also serves as Juan Soto’s number with the MLB club.

In her final season at Iowa, Clark played a total of 65 games in eight months from October 2023 to July 17. That includes a run to the NCAA championship game, the No. 1 pick to the Fever and the intense media coverage of her arrival in the WNBA.

Clark has had a great debut season so far, averaging 17.1 points, 8.2 assists (a WNBA record) and 5.8 rebounds per game in 26 starts. The 22-year-old recorded the first triple-double by a rookie in league history in the Fever’s victory over the New York Liberty on July 6.

The Fever continue their season at home against the Phoenix Mercury on Friday.

In the meantime, Clark will attend at least one of the two games between the Rangers and Yankees on Saturday starting at 1:05 p.m. ET.
