Phoenix Suns star is one of the top players in NBA 2K25

PHOENIX – Ahead of the expected release of NBA 2K25 in the coming weeks, another piece of the Phoenix Suns puzzle has been discovered.

Franchise player Devin Booker received a total score of “93,” which tied him for 11th place in the entire league along with Jalen Brunson of the New York Knicks and Anthony Edwards of the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Booker is entering his 10th season as a professional, which will coincide with his age-28 season. Since the 2020 bubble, he has established himself as a perennial superstar – but 2023-24 is likely to be his most disappointing season as a professional.

Although he averaged 27.1 PPG, 4.5 RPG, and 6.9 APG, displaying above-league efficiency, the consensus was that he had not improved significantly in any key category.

But that doesn’t mean he doesn’t deserve that rating. He remains one of the league’s most dangerous scorers, but he’s also a crafty playmaker and has defensive potential that hasn’t been fully utilized since the 2023 playoffs.

Booker will certainly have a great chance in the next few months to change opinions and shake the public belief that he has already reached his peak as a player.

He arguably has as much to gain as any player in the league in the 2024-25 season. It’s also reasonable to assume that if Phoenix exceeds expectations, they’ll be a much better team ahead of what could be a thrilling Western Conference playoff race.

The top 10 is set to be released on Monday – and Kevin Durant will surely be part of that elusive group.
