Phinsider question of the day: Let’s just let this issue come to us

Our Miami Dolphins entered the 2024 preseason the same way they ended the 2023 season: with three quarterbacks – not just three quarterbacks, but the same three quarterbacks: Tua Tagovailoa, Skylar Thompson and Mike White. Now, the Dolphins have decided to part ways with Mike White, the least effective and most expensive of the two backups. Given the nature of the NFL, it’s inevitable that your starting quarterback will get injured during the season, even if it’s a minor thing that only costs him a start or two. Knowing nothing to the contrary, the Dolphins are now ready to enter the season with Tua and Skylar as their quarterback team.

With this in mind, this evening’s Phinsider question of the day is:

Are you comfortable with the Dolphins moving forward with only two quarterbacks on the roster, or do you want/need them to add another quarterback to the roster or practice squad before their first game? If you wish they had a third quarterback, aka a second backup, do you think it’s realistic to bring someone in at this point and work them into a slightly more complicated offensive scheme in time for them to even make a difference?
