The 2024 NFL season is officially upon us and the preseason is already behind us.

The Cincinnati Bengals are eager to get back on the field after finishing 9-8 last season and missing the playoffs for the first time in several years.

The main reason for last season’s poor year was Joe Burrow’s season-ending injury.

The good news is: Burrow is back, Tee Higgins is back, and Ja’Marr Chase is practicing. The offensive line is fully operational. The defense has received some much-needed improvements. All of this seems to have Cincinnati primed for an exciting football season in the Queen City.

Some PFF analysts recently released their predictions for winning the AFC North with the return of Joe Burrow.

The PFF Power Rankings and Nathan Jahnke predict that the Baltimore Ravens will win the North, but Gordon McGuinness, Dalton Wasserman and Trevor Sikkema all see the Bengals reclaiming the throne.

The Bengals defense has a big problem at defensive tackle, but management seems confident with the players available at the moment.

IF, and only IF, Joe Burrow can stay, the sky’s the limit for the Cincinnati Bengals. In his four seasons, he has had two offseasons and two AFC Championship appearances.

Let’s hope that everything comes together and the Bengals advance far into the postseason again.
