ABC13 spoke to a father-son duo who said they came all the way from Germany.

That’s true, 14 hours of travel time, but they said it’s worth it to see the competition in person.

“It’s always a little different on stream. You can’t see the distance they throw and all that stuff. You don’t see it as well on camera as you do in real life,” said Dennis from Germany.

For them, it is also the first time that they experience the World Cup in person.

They only arrived here on Tuesday and haven’t had time to look around yet, but Dennis told us that at least the place is beautiful.

The event runs until Sunday, when a woman and a man will be crowned disc golf world champions.
