PC gamers get the current mega hit at full price completely free of charge, but only for a limited time

As we all know, the PC gaming sector often has the best deals, as game prices in online stores drop to ridiculously low levels.

While gamers can often grab popular games for just a few cents, the Epic Games Store offers its users free games every week.

There are no strings attached, all you need is a free Epic Games account and you can start building your PC games library completely free.

This week is a particularly good week for Epic Games Store users, as there’s a new triple-A game worth £50/$60 up for grabs.

The first game available for free on the Epic Games Store is The Callisto Protocol, a spacey survival horror from the developers behind Dead Space.

It originally released in 2022 and competed with the original studio’s Dead Space remake for the sci-fi survival crown.

Compared to the Dead Space remake, The Callisto Protocol focuses more on fighting the monsters rather than sneaking past them and focusing on their weak points to defeat them.

It’s a different take on the genre compared to the developers’ previous games, but it’s worth a try, especially since it’s free.

The other game available for free this week is Gigantic Rampage Edition.

This is a 5v5 MOBA hero shooter where you can team up with friends and others online for thrilling battles.

Gigantic is the less popular of the two games on offer this month, but since it’s also free, it might be worth adding to your Epic Games library.

It normally costs £16.99/$19.99, so you’re getting a good deal if you pick this one up.

If you decide to buy both games, you’ll save a whopping £67/$80, making it one of the best deals online.

Both games are available for one week until Thursday, August 30, 2024, when they are replaced by three games in the Fallout series.

All you need to claim them is a free Epic Games account, but if you want to play them you’ll need to download the Epic Games Store Launcher.

This is also completely free, so the games are not subject to any conditions.

You can claim both games through their store pages, directly from the launcher, or through the Epic Games Store website.
