Passenger kicks plane after missing flight

He definitely made it into the Mile Cry Club.

An American tourist has been deported from Colombia after kicking and punching a plane because he missed his flight. The wild video was initially shared on the X-account @RedMasNoticias, but then reposted on Instagram, where it is currently going viral.

“This man displayed aggressive behavior that endangered both staff and other travelers,” said Daniel Gallo of the Colombian Air Transport Workers Union, Jam Press reported.

The riot began after the unnamed U.S. citizen allegedly arrived late for a LATAM airline flight scheduled to fly from Bogotá to Cartagena on August 23, local media reported.

“This disruptive passenger first attacked the ground staff after being told that the flight was already closed and he was late,” said Daniel Gallo of the Colombian Air Transport Union. “He then forced his way to the gate and when he could not get on the plane, he decided to bypass flight security.”

The traveler reportedly arrived at the gate after closing time and was denied entry by the crew. Instead of complying, the fool bypassed the barrier and attempted to board the plane.

“When he couldn’t board the plane, he decided to circumvent flight safety regulations,” Gallo recalled.

When the angry pilot realized that the plane door was closed, he had a tantrum that lasted a long time.

In the accompanying three-minute Instagram video, filmed by a passenger on board the plane, the boy can be seen desperately kicking the plane door.

The US citizen was reportedly deported from Colombia within hours.

At one point, the desperate guy falls to his knees and bangs on the window, begging the staff to let him in.

In a final attempt to get on the plane, he even tries to fiddle with the joystick on the jetway.

Rescue came when police and security forces arrested the ruffian and took him to the airport’s immigration office, where he reportedly attacked an officer.

The man was deported from the country within a few hours.

Instagram viewers were shocked and horrified by the traveler’s nervous breakdown.

“Even if it were possible to open the door for him to board, he believes that the cabin crew or the captain would allow such a crazy person to board,” said one commentator.

Another wrote: “Easiest way to get on the no-fly list.”

A former airline employee also commented on the man’s escapades.

“From a former airline employee: It is the employee’s responsibility not to let anyone through at check-in when boarding is already in progress,” they wrote. “There is a time limit for the check-in counter once they let the passenger through, especially at the gates, now they all have to be accounted for, head shakes.”
