Fans of Blizzard’s hero shooter Overwatch 2 should definitely keep an eye on Wednesday, August 14th.

Recently this classic Watch Weapon became the focus of a fan project. In a post on Reddit, Candyskull53 showcased his impressive hand-made Brigitte flail. In a video, the creator revealed the realistic size of the prop as well as its many details that match the in-game version. The already impressive prop was made even better by the design feature that allowed the tip of the mace to be released as it was connected to the handle by a chain, similar to Brigitte’s weapon in Overwatch2.

When Candyskull53 shared the creation on Reddit, he said that the flails are made of EVA foam and PVC pipes. They also used hot glue sticks for the hinges of the prop. The cute fan creation has caught the attention of Watch Subreddit, with the post receiving more than 2,000 upvotes. In the comments, some users wondered how the flails could be reloaded once the top section was detached. According to Candyskull53, the flail was designed so that the chain could be reinserted into the PVC handle, allowing the mace to sit “comfortably” on top of the brace again.

In addition to this real Brigitte Dreschflegel, Overwatch2 Fans have created more weapon props and cosplays based on their favorite heroes from the list. In fact, this is not Candyskull53’s first Watch-related project, as they have previously shown Reinhardt and Mercy cosplays on Reddit.

With Overwatch2 Juno will be added to the list in the next few days. It will be interesting to see if creative fans decide to create real weapons and costumes based on the character. Regardless, it’s likely that fans will continue to look to the series for inspiration for their creations for the foreseeable future, whether they’re new or classic characters.
