Oregon Football unveils Week 1 uniform for game against Idaho

Oregon football is back, folks.

If you’re anything like me, you’re excited for football to return, and it feels like the Ducks haven’t been on the field in years, such is the anticipation for the 2024 season in Eugene.

In fact, this could be the most anticipated football season in Oregon in decades.

And with game week finally here and just a few days left until kickoff at Autzen Stadium against Idaho, it’s time for the uniform unveiling. Everyone is excited to see what the Ducks will wear on the field on Saturday night.

Fortunately, Oregon was able to announce a new uniform combination for the season opener.

The Ducks will be wearing all green, with the classic “O” on the helmet and yellow face mask. I like this classic look with the Duck logo on the sleeve and the yellow coloring of the letters and numbers is clean. It’s not overly flashy, but it’s about what I expected for the first game against the Vandals.

Oregon doesn’t need to over-show off every week, especially in games that the rest of the country probably won’t see because they’re against an FCS opponent.

The excitement is building, and this uniform reveal has brought the opening game even closer. There are just days until the Ducks take the field to start their shot at a national title. Dan Lanning has assembled a title-worthy roster, led by Dillon Gabriel, and it would be shocking if the 2024 season doesn’t end with a playoff berth.
