BALTIMORE – Harford County Fire Department is investigating a suspected house explosion that left one person dead and another injured in Abingdon Sunday morning.

Around 7 a.m., the department posted on social media that it had been called to an explosion in the 2300 block of Arthur Woods Drive.

Emergency services are searching through the rubble. One person was found at the scene and pronounced dead. Another person was injured but refused to be taken to hospital.

According to the authorities, there is currently no danger to the population.
