Olivia Attwood “will not return to ‘I’m a Celebrity’ after landing the biggest role of her career in the new show”

Olivia Attwood will not be returning to the I’m a Celebrity: Get Me Out of Here! jungle this year after landing a great new job.

The 32-year-old former Love Island star took part in the ITV show last year but was pulled from the show after 24 hours for medical reasons when a routine blood test showed signs of anaemia.

Although Olivia has since admitted she would love to return to Australia to appear on the show again, she is unlikely to be able to stick to the filming schedule this year after signing a new show with ITV instead.

Olivia was reportedly offered a six-figure contract to host a dating show and is said to have “excitedly jumped at the chance” to host the show.

A source told MailOnline: ‘Olivia was so upset when she suddenly had to leave the jungle last year… everyone could see how incredibly disappointed she was.

“She had been negotiating with ITV for months about a return to ‘I’m a Celeb’. Both sides wanted it to work because it was unfair that her time on the show was so short when it had always been her dream to take part.

“But then the opportunity arose to host a brand new dating show on ITV and she jumped at the chance.”

Details about the show are currently being kept secret, but there is already talk of it being the “next big dating series since ‘Love Island’”.

The source added: “The show is set to be the next big dating series since Love Island, but it’s more about exploring relationships, so it’s come full circle for Olivia.

“She loves presenting but also loves reality TV and has never forgotten the platform Love Island gave her… this new role combines the two perfectly.”

Last month, Olivia admitted she would “love” to be given a second chance on I’m a Celebrity because she “has unfinished business” on the show.

Speaking on ITV’s Lorraine, she said: “I was absolutely fine but they were careful, they did their job and looked after me.”

“I would like to return sometime. An unfinished business!”
