Olivia Attwood “will be the first Love Island star to take part in I’m a Celebrity”

Olivia Attwood is reportedly the first ‘Love Island’ star to sign up for ‘I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’

The 31-year-old reality star, who came third in the hugely popular dating show in 2017 alongside ex-boyfriend Chris Hughes, went on to appear in series such as Celebs Go Dating, The Only Way Is Essex and her own X-rated documentary series Getting Filthy Rich, and could now head to the jungle when the show returns to Australia.

An insider told The Sun newspaper: “This is a sign that the dating favourite is now so big and producing such well-known personalities that they can no longer be ignored.”

“Olivia is already seen as a rising star at ITV and this will likely serve as a launching pad for the potential hosting of more mainstream shows on the channel.”

She now has a history with I’m a Celebrity, having appeared as a special guest on the spin-off show Extra Camp, where she had to endure bushtucker trials and eat sheep’s brains.

The report comes after sources claimed that Celebrity Gogglebox star Babatunde Aleshe – who appears on the Channel 4 show alongside Masked Singer judge Mo Gilligan – is also heading to the jungle.

An insider said: “The bosses are really excited to have Babatunde on the team.

“He has become a firm favourite with Celebrity Gogglebox viewers and producers think he will make a great camp mate. He has been doing stand-up comedy for years but it is his quips and constant one-liners with his best mate Mo on Celebrity Gogglebox that really impressed the casting team.

“It’s a great opportunity for him to head out into the jungle.”

Responding to the reports, an ITV spokesperson told Metro.co.uk: “Any names suggested for I’ma Celebrity are speculation. We will announce our programme closer to broadcast.”
