Old Farmer’s Almanac 2024-25 New York Winter Forecast

The Old Farmer’s Almanac will release its official forecast for winter 2024-25 on August 27, but this morning they gave a little taste of what we can expect.

According to their latest update, we could be facing a warmer than normal winter due to solar activity.

The sun is reaching the maximum of solar cycle 25, halfway through its eleven-year solar cycle. High solar activity has historically been associated with higher temperatures.

The Old Farmer’s Almanac will officially release its forecast for winter 2024–25 on August 27.
