Warner Bros. Games has unveiled the official trailer for Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions, the sequel to the ever-popular Hogwarts Legacy.

Just recently, Warner Bros. released the pre-order trailer for Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions, which gave us a sneak peek at the game, particularly in terms of the playable characters and a glimpse into the fast-paced gameplay of Quidditch. The latest official trailer, titled “Magic is in the Air,” has given us a comprehensive look at the sequel to Hogwarts Legacy.

Interestingly, in Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions you can play with some of the iconic characters from the original film series, including Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Ginny Weasley and Draco Malfoy. This is how the developers describe the upcoming project and they have actually prepared a hidden surprise for the owners of Hogwarts Legacy, which you can see below:

Featuring iconic locations, characters and references from the Wizarding World that fans will love, Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions showcases the thrill of flying through legendary arenas as a Beater, Chaser, Keeper or Seeker in numerous modes, including single-player Career Mode, Competitive Multiplayer and online Co-op.

From backyard battles in the Weasley Den to high-stakes showdowns at the Quidditch World Cup, players will storm legendary arenas and play as – or against – iconic characters such as Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Ginny Weasley, Draco Malfoy, Cho Chang and many more. And as a special gift, players who own Hogwarts Legacy will receive the Bonus Legacy Pack* when they download Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions and connect to their WB Games account.

As for the release date, Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions is expected to be available for the Digital Standard and Deluxe Editions on Xbox, PC (Steam and Epic), and PlayStation by September 4. Additionally, players will have the option to purchase the physical Deluxe Edition for consoles, specifically Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5, but it will be released on November 8. The digital edition is expected to cost $29.99, while the physical edition will retail for $39.99.

The Nintendo Switch version of the game will be released during the 2024 holiday season, slightly earlier than other mainstream platforms. For PlayStation Plus members, WB Games plans to give away the Firebolt Supreme Broom skin as a redeemable bundle.

For fans of Hogwarts Legacy, WB Games has another package ready for release, but the big question is whether it can maintain the hype. For more details, check out the title’s official website.
