The Jujutsu Kaisen Franchise is cooking up something special for hungry foodies this summer. Starting August 29, 2024, there will be several limited-time pop-up cafes inspired by JJKs prequel film, Jujutsu Kaisen 0will open in several areas across Japan, offering fans a brand new selection of themed menu items – including a special parfait inspired by the popular character Satoru Gojo.

As detailed in PR Times, CL Holdings recently launched the official website for “Jujutsu Kaisen 0’s 2024 Café Experience,” which will offer exclusive food and merchandise inspired by main characters such as Zenin Maki, Inumaki Toge, and the film’s main protagonist Yuta Okkotsu. For 1,690 yen (approximately $11.44), visitors can unwind with Satoru Gojo’s “Good Looking Guy Parfait,” a mix of ramune-flavored sorbet and “cream cheese” ice cream, topped with whipped cream and a sprig of mint. This unique treat is directly inspired by Gojo’s insatiable appetite for sweets. The parfait will be sold at various pop-up locations in Tokyo, Osaka, and Nagoya, in addition to the café’s other options.

Jujutsu Kaisen also honors Gojo with a special drink called the “Sweet Tooth Iced Latte” – a refreshing, blue-colored drink made from “butterfly pea tea” and mint jelly. The mixture is sprinkled with granulated sugar that resembles sugar cubes. In addition to Satoru Gojo, the cafe’s dessert menu features two other popular characters. The “Heartwarming Day Puff” parfait is shaped to resemble Yuji Itadori’s classmate Panda-san. The majority of the treat is yogurt ice cream and crunchy pieces of white chocolate. Including tax, the parfait costs 1,590 yen (US$10.77). In addition, the “Manifestation! Blueberry Pancake” plate is directly inspired by “Curse Queen” Rika Orimoto and her signature jujutsu technique. The plate mimics the eerie purple and black color scheme with blueberries and “coffee-flavored chocolate whipped cream.” Also on the stack is a non-edible standee with Rika’s ghost form.

The cafe’s lunch menu offers visitors three different main dishes to choose from. The “Friendly White Curry” – a tribute to Yuta’s kind and gentle personality – is garnished with onion rings and pineapple. The dish is also served with Yuta’s personal favorite side dish, a side of salted cabbage seasoned with sesame oil, which serves as a “palate cleanser.” The Onigiri Pasta Plate is a tribute to Jujutsu High’s Inumaki Toge, who can only communicate by saying the names of various rice ball ingredients. Accordingly, the noodles are served with salmon and bonito flakes, as well as a bottle of noodle soup seasoning. Finally, Zenin Maki’s “Physically Gifted Burger” consists of a vegetable-laden patty skewered with a type of breadstick called a “breadstick,” which is meant to resemble Maki’s main weapon. The listed prices for main courses range from 1,790 to 1,890 yen (US$12.13–12.80).
