Objectively Good Media appoints Anna Dragoo as Head of Development

EXCLUSIVE: Rising producer Anna Dragoo has joined recently launched production company Objectively Good Media as Head of Development.

Dragoo joins OGM after spending a year and a half as executive producer at OB42, where she built and led the U.S. production division and produced for an exclusive roster of award-winning directors including Carlos López Estrada, Sean Wang and Sandy Honig. In her new role, she will lead the production of feature films, television shows and podcasts for OGM that highlight emerging talent with diverse perspectives and compelling narratives.

Most recently, Dragoo was executive producer of the film I love you, byeDirected by Taylor James, starring Meg Stalter, Rainn Wilson and Benito Skinner. She started in television at Digital Ranch Productions, developing and producing shows for the Discovery and History Channels. To date, her portfolio of over 150 projects includes screenplays, documentaries, music videos, commercials and photography. Her past clients include YouTube, Google, Amazon, Disney and the Los Angeles Times, as well as major labels such as Columbia, Epic and Capitol Records, where she produced for artists such as Mitski, Katy Perry, Gunna and Diplo, to name a few.

Objectively Good Media was founded in 2023 by Matthew R. Cooper and Uwakokunre (Kokie) Imasogie and is currently producing two films, including the recently announced Damned if you doa black comedy about a group of teenage friends who have sold their souls to the devil. Of course, life offers them different paths: a rock star, a tech mogul and a well-known activist. Years later, they must rely on an old classmate to try to escape the grip of hell before the contract for their 25th high school reunion expires. Kate Siegel and Harvey Guillén are among the stars.

Currently, OGM is also in pre-production on another title and has over 20 projects on the development slate for film and television. The company produces in-house through its executive group led by Cooper, with a focus on development, packaging and raising funds for projects.
