NYT Strands today (Game No. 174) – the answers
The answers to today’s Strands, Game No. 174, are…
- RICE
- SODA
- WATER
- OYSTER
- GOLDFISH
- SALT
- SPANGRAM: CRACKERS
- My rating: Moderate
- My result: 2 Notes
I like a good cracker with some cheese, but have barely heard of the kinds in today’s Strands, so I was struggling to discover them all and needed some tips. RICE and WATER I know (and have eaten), GOLDFISH I vaguely knew from TV and movies, but SODA, OYSTER and SALT… no, no experience with those. Well, I say that, but it turns out I know them, I’ve just never heard them called that.
Anyway, you don’t care about my eating habits, so I’m going to shut up about it now and just say that if you solved the fairly easy Spangram – where the topic hint didn’t help AT ALL – and maybe one or two of the other problems, you probably did OK today.
How did you do today? Send me an email and let me know.
