NYT Strands today (Game No. 160) – the answers
The answers to today’s Strands, Game No. 160, are…
- ICE HOCKEY
- CONTROL
- LIQUORICE
- MEMORY
- TO SWIM
- CINNAMON
- SPANGRAM: STICKS
- My rating: Moderate
- My result: 1 Note
While this Strands puzzle isn’t difficult in itself, I couldn’t get started without a hint; the “Not Just for Poking” theme hint was just too vague. Yes, of course it makes sense in hindsight… but it’s not much use now!
Once I had the first word, HOCKEY, everything was much easier. CONTROL was clearly visible at the bottom of the board, the spangram STICK was also pretty obvious, and at that point it was just a matter of putting words on the board.
How did you do today? Send me an email and let me know.
