FELCH TOWNSHIP – Raina Ledzian’s impact on the 2023 North Dickinson varsity volleyball team was undeniable.

After all the hard work, the American Volleyball Coaches Association took notice and named her to the 2024 ACVA Phenom Watch List.

In 2023, Ledzian led the team in assists (237), block kills (29), aces (85), triple-doubles (two) and double-doubles (three). She also finished second in kills with 75.

Ledzian helped the Nordics win the MHSAA Division 4 District 100 tournament and was named to the 2023 Skyline Central Conference First Team, the MIVCA Region One All-Region Team, and earned 2023 MIVCA Team Academic All-State and 2023 ACVA Team Academic All-American honors. The North Dickinson junior and 2023 team MVP will also serve as a team captain for the Nordics this season. As part of the MVCA Phenom watch list, Ledzian was invited to this winter’s AVCA college preparatory program in Kentucky.
