Nike unveils epic A’ja Wilson Olympics commercial

Nike unveils epic A’ja Wilson Olympics commercial

Nike has done an incredible amount of commercials that give off a lot of aura for the Paris Olympics. Legends of the US team like Kevin Durant got one wearing a Slim Reaper, while Victor Wembanyama was also seen in another, among others. However, A’ja Wilson may just have gotten the best of all. The Las Vegas Aces star led her team to the semifinals after a devastating defeat of Nigeria.

“Winning isn’t for everyone” is the official slogan Nike is using for the Paris Olympics, featuring stars from around the world who have proven they can win time and time again, so it was no surprise that the two-time WNBA Most Valuable Player got her own slogan. The short narrative revolved around how it would be a privilege to lose to the Aces and the Team USA legend because she and her team could very well win a gold medal at the Olympics.

How was A’ja Wilson during the US team’s recent triumph at the Olympics?

Nike released this video after the USA’s convincing 88-74 win over Nigeria. Wilson was on fire and led all scorers, sinking nine of her 11 field goal attempts and scoring 20 points. She was also a demon when it came to crashing the boards. The Aces star finished with a double-double as she grabbed 11 rebounds.

On defense, Wilson was also a reliable blocker for Team USA. She was able to hit her opponents’ shots at the highest point often and ended up with two blocks. However, the work is not done for Wilson’s Stars and Stripes. Team USA needs to win two more matches to secure a gold medal. Their next opponent will be Australia. If they can continue their winning streak, they will face whoever emerges victorious in the gold medal match between France and Belgium.
