Nick Pickard lost over 6.5 kg during his time on “I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!”

The 48-year-old Hollyoaks actor – the fourth star to be sent home from the ITV show – found he lost a significant amount of weight by following a diet of beans and rice.

Speaking to The Sun newspaper, Nick revealed: “I’ve lost 9.5 kg!

“They weigh you at certain points during trials and stuff because there are weight restrictions, like with the Critter Mixer, and I wanted to look (at the scale), but the medic wouldn’t show me.

“That makes it all the more interesting when you come out.”

The soap opera actor also revealed that he received a lot of advice about his diet after leaving the jungle.

He explained: “One of the ladies told me when I was there that I should be careful about my diet when I went out today because I had been eating a balanced diet.

“I said that was the understatement of the year. A balanced diet? I was starving!”

One day after Nick was voted out of the show, “Eastenders” star Danielle Harold also left the jungle.

In her post-show interview with Ant and Dec, the 31-year-old actress revealed that she has her fingers crossed for Sam Thompson to become the new King of the Jungle.

She said: “He’s literally become like a brother. I think we’re both a little bit crazy and a little bit loud. When someone has as much energy as you, they just make me laugh.”

“I’m so glad this was my year. Sometimes when you watch you think, ‘I don’t want to be there.’ But there wasn’t a single bad person there, not even Mr Farage.”
