– Fresh presence in the RTL wilderness – and the question of the night
After David Ortega’s exit, his vacant place on the RTL jungle camp couch was quickly taken by Elena Miras, a popular reality star, in the third episode of the RTL+ Saturday special “Showdown of the Jungle Legends”. She announced: “The best is yet to come.”
Upon her arrival, the 32-year-old expressed her dissatisfaction with the bed situation, causing some excitement. However, some camp residents had already received her coldly. Mola Adebisi, the hostess, commented: “I see a few alpha females here who are worried about their position.”
This special 20th anniversary edition of “I’m a Celebrity”, which originally aired in 2004, has undergone a few changes. This time, the season will be broadcast in the summer instead of at the beginning of the year, the broadcast location will be South Africa instead of Australia, and it will be a reunion of the “legends” from previous seasons, with RTL broadcasting the show pre-recorded.
Who would you seduce?
The central question of the evening was asked by reality star Kader Loth. She asked the residents about their preferences as to who they would choose to eat in the camp. The first choice fell on the eldest, the actor Winfried Glatzeder (79).
Former footballer Thorsten Legat intervened: “You can’t eat him, he’s like an old bone.” Former GZSZ star Eric Stehfest suggested an alternative: Kader.
Moderate rudeness in the challenge
In the jungle test, “Goodbye Germany” emigrant Danni Büchner and “Bachelor” candidate Georgina Fleur had to tackle the “compost station”. There were six stars to be awarded, the disgust factor was comparatively moderate.
Reality star Gigi Birofio was already starving before she acquired the few stars and declared: “I don’t even want to reproduce.” Even the smuggled instant noodles and spices from Giulia Siegel didn’t help. The presenter had secretly stashed her spice rack in her pillow – but was caught and had to return it. Unseasoned food is not an option for the 49-year-old: “I didn’t eat anything.”

During the evening’s Q&A, reality star Kader Loth brought up the topic of who the camp residents would choose to eat, which sparked discussion among the contestants, but no one suggested watching someone on TV instead.
