New Pokémon Go Wild Area event planned for November

New Pokémon Go Wild Area event planned for November

Pokemon Go In November, players can expect a new type of event: the very first Wild Area will take place both in Japan and later in the month worldwide.

Niantic has set the dates for Wild Area 2024. It will initially take place on the weekend of November 16, 2024, followed by a worldwide event on November 23. These were announced in a social media post, and specific details on what will be included have been kept under wraps.

There was no indication as to when further details about the event would be announced, and in a blog post to the Pokemon Go The website simply stated that it was a “brand new Pokemon Go Adventure.” Like Go Fest, this is a ticketed event, so you can expect there to be plenty to do over the weekend.

August was a big month for Pokemon Go announcements, with Wild Area being revealed just days after our first look at the game’s next season, Max Out, which will finally bring Dynamax Pokémon to the game when it launches in September.

To usher in the introduction of Dynamax Pokémon, the Go Big event will take place on September 10, giving players a chance to catch Dynamax versions of the popular three original starter Pokémon, Charmander, Squirtle, and Bulbasaur. Perhaps the introduction of Dynamax Pokémon could play a role in the Wild Area event, but for now, that’s just speculation. We’ll have to wait and see what comes to light in the next few months.

For many Pokemon Go Players, the more events offered, the better. Now that the first Wild Area is opening, it could potentially become an annual event, just like Go Fest. Once there are more details regarding Pokemon Go Wild Area, you will see them here in Escapist Magazine.
