Fans who want to be among the first to try out this newly unveiled MOBA game can sign up to participate in the first beta. The catch, however, is that the upcoming test is regional, and Ganbarion is limiting it to just eight countries: the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan. The regional beta will be available on Android, iOS, and PC (via Steam). The only exceptions are Germany and South Korea, which will only get access to the mobile version of the beta. Each playable hero has their own skills and abilities that allow them to fulfill one of three basic roles: DPS, Tank, and Support.

The announcement of Project: Multi comes during a bit of a lull for the franchise, as 2023 will be the first year in a long time without a new Dragon Ball Game release. The latest title of this kind is Dragon Ball: The Breakersan asymmetric online action game that debuted in 2022. The next one will Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichia fighting game developed by Spike Chunsoft and scheduled for release on October 11, 2024.
