What is AHA! New Bedford?

Art, History and Architecture, or better known as AHA! New Bedford, is an arts and culture experience held the second Thursday of every month in downtown New Bedford.

“In 1999, a collaboration among city leaders representing artists, businesses, churches, nonprofits and other stakeholders led to the launch of AHA!, an innovative approach to arts and culture programming,” AHA! said.

AHA! has become a joyful experience each month as people come together to enjoy free programs centered around arts and culture.

“For 25 years, AHA! has thrived thanks to the incredible support and contributions of our program partners and the Greater New Bedford community,” said Kim Goddard, Executive Director of AHA! New Bedford. “We look forward to toasting the next 25 years and inviting everyone to a huge outdoor street party to celebrate AHA’s journey and the community spirit that has made downtown a vibrant center for arts and culture.”
