Less drama, more emotions and fun: In the sixth episode of the RTL jungle camp, the candidates showed their emotional side – the German reality star Gigi Birofio (25), however, acted quite childish.
At the most recent “Showdown of the Jungle Camp Legends,” no one had to leave the camp. However, due to repeated rule violations, all twelve participants had to hand over their luxury items.
Deep reflections by Thorsten Legat and Kader Loth
Former footballer Thorsten Legacy (55) spoke by the fireplace about his relationship with his two sons. “I can’t live without my wife and my two children,” said Legat. He had positive words for his son Nico, who has taken part in numerous reality shows: “He’s grown up, he’s really grown up.” His other son Leon, on the other hand, wants to lead an independent life and has no interest in the family. “We miss you,” Legat cried, “and if you need help, I’m here for you.”
Famous Trash TV Personality Squad Loth (51) talked about her endometriosis diagnosis. She had pain in her lower abdomen and went to the doctor, who diagnosed her with endometriosis. The doctor suggested removing her uterus, which she said she did. “I came into the clinic as a human and came out as a zombie,” said Loth. Her panic attacks got worse after the operation, but she is fine now.
According to the Central Institute for Statutory Health Insurance Physicians, endometriosis is generally considered to be one of the most common gynecological diseases among German girls and women. In this disease, tissue that resembles the uterine lining forms outside the uterus. This can lead to various symptoms such as cramps and severe pain during menstruation and sexual intercourse.
Gigi Birofio fights for a cigarette
Gigi Birofio had other worries: He didn’t want to smoke his last cigarette until after dinner and asked Elena Miras (32) to save it for him. Even if he begged her not to give it to him. It didn’t take long before he asked for it – and even tried to wrestle with Miras, who was guarding the cigarette. “I just want one drag,” Birofio later admitted. “Well, Gigi is still a bit of a baby,” Kader Loth concluded. In fact, Birofio couldn’t wait until dinner.
Presenter Mola Adebisi (51) and model Giulia Siegel (49) shone in the jungle challenge “River of Laughter”. They had to free themselves from chains and shackles in ice-cold water (17 degrees). Together they managed to collect six out of twelve stars.
Back at the camp, she and the others learned about the rule violations: the candidates took a nap during the day and neglected the fire station for a while. At the end of the show, presenter Sonja Zietlow announced that the following candidate would be eliminated in the seventh episode.
The new season of “I’m a Celebrity” is a special celebration of the 20th anniversary of the show, which premiered in 2004. It is a kind of reunion: the “legends”, as RTL calls them, have already gathered around the fire in previous seasons.
In the next episode, South African contestant Gigi Birofio may face consequences for his behavior. With South Africa taking part in the show “I’m a Star,” it’s a special 20th anniversary commemoration event that will see the return of legends from the past like Gigi.
