50 Cent, Sikora, Naughton and several other “Power” stars celebrated the franchise’s anniversary and the premiere of “Power Book II: Ghost,” Season 4

It has been 10 years since Performance premiere, and the cast celebrated the anniversary in New York City.

On June 6, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, Naturi Naughton, Joseph Sikora and Michael Rainey Jr. were on hand at the Hammerstein Ballroom to celebrate the Starz series’ tenth anniversary – and to celebrate the premiere of the fourth and final season of the first spinoff. Power Book II: Spirit.

The cast of Spirit was also present, with stars such as Mary J. Blige, Method Man, Gianni Paolo and Woody McClain, as well as some other well-known faces from the Performance Universe, Raising Kanan starring Patina Miller and Joey Bada$$.

Emotions ran high and Sikora, 47, tells PEOPLE: “The first and most overwhelming feeling is one of gratitude.”

“Anything that lasts 10 years is longer than most Hollywood marriages, so I’m really happy to be here and I’m so grateful,” said the star of Power Book IV: Strength says, before thanking his former co-star, who continues to lead the Performance Universe.

“I am grateful to Curtis ’50 Cent’ Jackson for being the best boss I have ever had in my career, for being loving, kind and approachable, and for taking my career to the next level, whether it be in Performance universe or beyond.”

Naughton, 40, similarly expressed her gratitude for the decade she spent playing Tasha St. Patrick, saying it was “incredible” to celebrate the anniversary and the finale Spirit Premiere.

“It feels like it’s been a long time coming to be part of something so epic. 10 years of creating something that changed culture and just being celebrated,” she says. “It’s a really great feeling.”

The former 3LW member admits it’s “a little bittersweet” at the same time as she prepares to “say goodbye” to her character after so many years. “When you think about all the fun, the friends, the memories, the joy – I became a mother on the show. I had my husband. So many things happened and it really helped me become the woman I am. So I’m proud,” she adds.

Rainey Jr. plays Naughton’s son Tariq St. Patrick and leads Spiritsays it is “crazy” to be at the last premiere after spending almost half his life in the Performance World.

“When I came into this world as a little boy, I really didn’t know what I was thinking. It literally just grew and it grew before my eyes as I grew,” he says. “I’m grateful.”

Naughton says she feels like her “child has grown up” when she thinks back to 12-year-old Rainey Jr., who Performancecompared to his now 23-year-old self. “He’s grown – from a little boy to a grown man, and I watch his growth and it’s just incredible, it’s beautiful,” she says, adding, “I definitely feel like I’ve mothered him for all these years, and it’s hard to let go.”

But both Rainey Jr. and his longtime co-star Paolo, who plays Brayden Weston, are ready to close this chapter.

“People say it’s the end, it’s the last season, they’re upset, but I’m just happy I got to do this,” says 28-year-old Paolo. “It really was a blessing every day. I had fun every day. And yes, it’s sad that it’s coming to an end, but I’m more grateful that it just had to happen. That’s how I see it.”
