Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos have perfected their couple style on the red carpet – and were able to show it off at the 2024 Oscars!

The Live with Kelly and Mark The stars appeared all in black at the 96th Academy Awards on Sunday: Consuelos, 52, in a classic suit and bow tie, while Ripa, 53, caused a stir in a semi-transparent dress that revealed her panties.

Ripa – styled by Audrey Slater-Spiegel – rocked a strapless, polka-dot black Jason Wu dress with a long train, which she showed off in an Instagram post.

The TV star showcased the transparent train in a photo of herself and Consuelos on the steps of the red carpet and captioned it: “Mommy and daddy storming the red carpet.”

She paired the dress with a sparkling necklace by Jennifer Fisher and additional jewelry by Stephen Russell. For makeup, she wore dramatic smokey eyes and glossy salmon lips.

Her hairstylist, Ryan Trygstad, kept her hair simple but glamorous, styling her signature blonde locks with a wavy side part.

Last week, Ripa and Consuelos, who co-host Live with Kelly and Mark: After the Oscars After the ceremony, she reflected on some of her previous red carpet appearances – both the good and the bad.

The couple and co-hosts reminisced during a round of “Red Carpet Glam or Not a Fan” at Andy Cohen’s See what’s happening live.

From Ripa in a faux python onesie to Consuelos in cool flip-flops, the couple poked fun at some of their craziest style moments from the past few years.

The couple recently donned some of the most iconic movie costumes of all time to parody various films as part of a preview of the 2024 Academy Awards post-show.

In an exclusive PEOPLE report on the show, Consuelos and Ripa addressed several cult films, including There’s Something About Mary, Basic instinct, A question of honour, The Prince’s Bride, Dirty Dancing And Barbie.

Of the parodies, Consuelos tells PEOPLE: “We always have a lot of fun putting these packages together. It’s our chance to live out our cinematic fantasies and have a little laugh at these films that we love so much.”

“It’s really funny because we do a lot to get it right,” Ripa added. “We try to make our deliveries as precise as possible, but we also work on our own tributes to ourselves and to our Live Show in the script of the film. That makes it very crazy and bizarre.”

The 96th Academy Awards will air live from the Dolby Theatre on ABC on Sunday, March 10, at 7:00 p.m. ET.
