Mesa police search for missing 1-year-old boy abducted by his mother

MESA, AZ (AZFamily) – Mesa police are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing toddler who was reportedly abducted by his mother, who does not have custody of him.

According to police, 1-year-old Eric Rosales was last seen Wednesday with his mother, 35-year-old Natasha Kelley, at a department store in the Mesa Riverview shopping center at the corner of Dobson Road and Rio Salado Parkway.

Kelley ran off with Eric and has not been seen since, police said.

She recently lost custody of the boy and his father and social worker are concerned for his safety.

Investigators said they had no information that Eric was in danger.

Eric is described as a Hispanic boy, approximately 2’4″ tall, 30 lbs., with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a gray t-shirt, gray pants, a blue jacket and blue tennis shoes.

Kelley is described as a 35-year-old Hispanic woman, 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing 180 pounds, but it is unclear what she was wearing.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call Mesa Police at 480-644-2211.
