Megyn Kelly rips up article branding Doug Emhoff a ‘modern sex symbol’

Meg Kelly tore into WashingtonPost columnist Catherine Rampell for the branding of Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff a “modern sex symbol” and called her article on Monday “absolutely disgusting.”

“This is very interesting,” Kelly said on SiriusXM’s The Megyn Kelly ShowMonday. “It’s by Catherine Rampell of the Washington Post. The article is called ‘Doug Emhoff, Modern Sex Symbol.'”

She continued:

Do you know who Catherine Rampell is? The name might ring a bell, because she’s the one who wrote the article ripping Kamala’s economic plan to pieces for price gouging and saying, “This is ridiculous. If they’re accusing you of being a communist, maybe you shouldn’t be proposing communism as an economic plan.” And she was slammed by her left-wing readers.

So a week later she writes this nonsense to redeem herself on the left about the current second gentleman, a man who, if I may remind you, cheated on his first wife with the nanny he impregnated. Either they aborted the child or he abandoned it. Either way, not good.

Kelly then read an excerpt from Rampell’s article describing Emhoff as a “progressive sex symbol,” “the modern female fantasy,” “strong guy,” and “powerful alpha” before responding, “The media is absolutely disgusting.”

The article went viral last week and was criticized by conservatives on cable news and social media.

“Emhoff is a sex symbol? I mean, that’s untouchable,” the Fox News presenter responded Brian Kilmeadewhile Fox Business senior correspondent Charles Gasparino tweeted: “Translation: It’s so hot to impregnate the nanny and pay for her abortion.”
