Megyn Kelly has sharply criticized a Washington Post columnist for calling Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff a “modern-day sex symbol.”
The journalist criticized columnist Catherine Rampell on Monday on SiriusXM’s “The Megyn Kelly Show” after she wrote an exuberant article about Vice President Kamala Harris’ husband.
Rampell’s article portrays Emhoff as the stuff of “modern female fantasy” – a man “so confident of his masculinity that he sometimes puts his wife’s ambitions ahead of his own.”
Rampell also called Emhoff a “strong guy,” a “dream guy,” and a “high-performing alpha” who “doesn’t feel threatened when his wife is threatened.”
The former Fox News star accused Rampell of writing “nonsense” to curry favor with left-wing readers after criticizing Harris’ economic plan in an earlier article.

Previously, Dailymail.com exclusively revealed that Emhoff’s first marriage ended because he cheated on her and impregnated his children’s nanny, who also taught at the children’s expensive private school.
“Do you know who Catherine Rampell is?” said Kelly.
“That name might ring a bell, because she’s the one who wrote the article ripping Kamala’s economic plan to pieces because of the price gouging and saying, ‘This is ridiculous. They’re accusing you of being a communist. Maybe you shouldn’t even be proposing communism as an economic plan.’ And she was trashed by her readers on the left.”
“So a week later she’s writing this nonsense and trying to redeem herself with the left,” Kelly continued.
Kelly also stressed that Emhoff “cheated on his first wife with the nanny, whom he impregnated.”
Rampell’s article portrays Emhoff as the stuff of “modern female fantasy” – a man “so confident of his masculinity that he sometimes puts his wife’s ambitions ahead of his own.”
“Either they aborted the child or he abandoned it,” Kelly claimed. “Either way, not good.”
“The media is absolutely disgusting,” Kelly scoffed.

The woman, Najen Naylor, 47, did not deny the story when approached by DailyMail.com at her home in the Hamptons.
Although Emhoff admits to having an affair, it is unclear whether the woman’s pregnancy ended in a miscarriage.
