Meagan Good celebrated the premiere of her new film “Terry McMillan Presents: Forever” in Los Angeles last night with co-star Taye Diggs, combining a black mini dress by Nookie with patent leather platform pumps by Dolce & Gabbana.

Good chose a dress from Australian brand Nookie, which offers a range of going-out dresses like the one pictured above. This particular LBD featured glittery embellishments along the bustier, which wrapped around the neck in a halter style. The dress also featured sheer mesh material around the bust, creating the illusion that Good was wearing separates.

The actress accessorized the dress with a pair of shiny platform pumps by Dolce & Gabbana, which feature a rounded toe and a tall 5.75-inch block heel. The thin ankle strap features a silver DG logo, which is also featured on the sole of the shoe. Made in Italy, the patent leather shoes can be purchased at Saks Fifth Avenue for $1,045. As seen on red carpets, platform pumps remain a dominant trend in women’s fashion — Salma Hayek often wears a pair by Gucci, and Joey King recently wore a strikingly similar pair to Good, though hers was by Le Silla.

Other guests at the premiere of “Terry McMillan Presents: Forever,” held at the DGA Theater Complex, included Good’s boyfriend Jonathan Majors, media personality and attorney Rachel Lindsay from “The Bachelorette,” and former *NSYNC member JC Chasez. Below, see the shoes worn by Diggs, Majors, Lindsay, Chasez and more guests at the event.

Taye Diggs left his formal shoes at home and paired the blue lapels tucked into his purple suit with a pair of blue Converse sneakers. Like Vice President Kamala Harris, Diggs is a fan of the enduring sneaker brand known for its canvas uppers, cap and All-Star branding. He wore a striped shirt under his blazer and topped it off with a wide-brimmed hat.
