Max Verstappen’s beach day with Kelly Piquet and Penelope dispels any breakup rumors

Max Verstappen’s beach day with Kelly Piquet and Penelope dispels any breakup rumors

Rumors continue to be the main topic in Max Verstappen’s life in 2024, this time related to his relationship with Kelly Piquet. Speculations that the two are in a difficult situation intensified after Piquet posted a cryptic message about her life on her Instagram. However, all rumors have now ended as the 35-year-old has posted photos and videos on Instagram.

Piquet’s latest update shows Verstappen enjoying a beach holiday with her and her daughter Penelope. Several fans on Twitter (now X) reacted warmly to these photos.

The rumors of a strained relationship between Verstappen and Piquet first emerged in the last week of July. Piquet had traveled to Brazil for her sister’s wedding. However, the reigning F1 champion did not accompany his partner, which caused a stir. When Kelly’s brother accompanied her instead, rumors began that the four-year relationship was over.

However, Piquet’s latest update has put an end to any such talk. Verstappen continues to hold an important place in Penelope’s life, as evidenced by a photo of her holding his hand.

A video of Verstappen jumping into the water and Penelope swimming further highlights their healthy relationship. With all the rumors surrounding him over and the summer break coming to an end, Verstappen can now focus on getting back to winning ways.

Verstappen’s vacation is over and the focus is on his home race

Now that the holidays are over, Verstappen can focus all his energy on defending his title. After failing to win a race in the last four races, the Dutchman will want nothing more than to be back on the top of the podium.

Formula 1 returns next weekend with the Dutch Grand Prix and Verstappen will be hoping for a clear victory in front of his home crowd. Having won the last three Dutch Grands Prix, the 26-year-old will be looking to score his fourth victory and draw level with the legendary Jim Clark, who has the most race wins at Zandvoort.

However, Red Bull will have to make a huge effort to change their recent form and even Verstappen will have to keep a cool head to maximise his result with the championship at stake.
