British star of Married at First Sight, Jess Potter, has admitted to receiving death threats from angry viewers.
The E4 reality series recently aired her wedding to Pjay Finch, which didn’t go quite as smoothly as she would have liked.
On the big day, he confessed to her that he was a dancer and stripper, saying on camera beforehand: “I’m nervous to tell my future wife what I do.”

She told him, “I didn’t expect that,” before taking a moment to collect her thoughts. Then she burst into tears while speaking to producers and said she didn’t want to go on a honeymoon.
After talking to her mother, she decided to give him a chance, but the reaction from viewers was fierce.
In her Instagram stories, she asked her followers: “Can people stop sending me death threats because I have literally done everything wrong in this situation.”
Addressing the trolls, she continued: “You guys weren’t at my wedding. Let’s remember it’s edited, so not everything you see is what happened. There’s a lot more context.

“I have never disrespected anyone and never done anything inappropriate.”
Speaking about the actual wedding day, Jess called it “incredible”. She explained: “We actually had an incredible day, dancing to Chaka Khan and getting drunk on white wine from a jug.”
Jess isn’t the only one being trolled online. Whitney Hughes recently took to Instagram to respond to some of the negative comments she’s received online.
