Mark Consuelos is proud of his wife, co-host and future Disney legend Kelly Ripa – and wants to look good at the ceremony.

In the Friday edition of Live with Kelly and MarkConsuelos announced that Ripa will be awarded the prestigious title this weekend and told guest host Jenny Mollen that he would attend the ceremony.

Mollen asked, “How does it feel to be married to a Disney legend?”

Consuelos replied, “Well, it’s fantastic.”

After mentioning Angela Bassett, Harrison Ford, John Williams, Miley Cyrus, James Cameron and Jamie Lee Curtis as some of the others honored at the ceremony, Mollen asked “what is required of Consuelos” while supporting Ripa at the event, which takes place as part of D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event in Anaheim, California.

“Well, I don’t speak,” he joked.

Mollen asked Consuelos if he had to wear “mouse ears” in the happiest place on earth, to which he immediately denied.

“I’ll be wearing a nice suit… My hair will be blowing outside,” he joked, running his hand through his buzz cut.

Later, Consuelos took the time to share his pride in Ripa’s performance.

“Kelly, I’m so proud of you,” he gushed. “You’re a legend.”

Ripa was absent from Livewith guest moderators Mollen, LiveHost Deja Vu, Jane Krakowski and Maria Menounos filled in for her at the co-host desk. Although the episodes were already taped, they featured brand new content, including an interview with John Stamos, who briefly made fun of Consuelos’ haircut.

“Where’s Kelly? She finally quit because of the haircut?” Stamos joked.
