Mariah Carey’s twins are now grown up and seem ready to step into the public eye!
While the “Fantasy” singer’s twins Moroccan and Monroe are nothing new to the spotlight, having even joined their mother on stage after her recent 13th birthday, the now-teenagers have stepped into the spotlight in a different way: with their own Instagram accounts.
The twins, whose father is Nick Cannon, started their own Instagram accounts in April and both have now given a candid glimpse into their summer vacation.
Over the weekend, Moroccan and Monroe, whose parents affectionately call “Roc and Roe,” released separate photo dumps with snapshots that offer rare insights into their personalities and interests.
Monroe herself shared an ode to Los Angeles, including photos of her pup resting next to her at home, a cute photo of her brother wearing cat ears, another of him looking cool as ever in a white T-shirt and cargo jeans, as well as a glimpse of a visit with friends to LA-popular Erewhon, where they got one of their famous celebrity smoothies.
Moroccan also shared a ton of photos, including selfies with his twin sister, photos of hanging out with friends, and a snapshot of his father Nick working on an electric piano keyboard.
InstagramFor the twins’ birthday on April 30, their father threw them a western-themed birthday party. Sharing photos of the celebrations on Instagram, he wrote, “I can’t believe 13 years ago I was blessed with the greatest gift of becoming a father!!,” adding, “God truly put his hand on the lives of two of the most loving, kind, intelligent, and well-rounded people I have ever seen!”

He continued, “Thank you for teaching me how to love every day and thank you for letting me be your dad!” and concluded, “I’ll get it right eventually, I promise!! And now let’s celebrate again! I love you Roc and Roe!! Happy birthday!!!”
InstagramAhead of that milestone, Nick had reflected on their next chapter in a conversation with People in January. “It’s crazy, man. I was just talking to them about it,” he said, noting, “13! That’s a big age, too. I remember that age like it was yesterday.”

InstagramHe also revealed, “Then you think that in five years they’re going to be college students and adults, and you think, ‘Wow. Wow.’ Time flies.”

In addition to Moroccan and Monroe, Nick, who was married to Mariah from 2008 to 2016, has ten other children with five other women.
