Watching wild animals on jungle safaris is common. However, attempting to touch large carnivores such as lions or tigers during the safari can be fatal. Meanwhile, a video of a man trying to touch a lion during a wildlife safari is going viral on the internet, leaving netizens in shock.

The video was shared by @rohit_x_214 on social media platform Instagram. In the video, a man can be seen trying to touch a calmly seated lion from the window of a jungle safari vehicle. On the first attempt, the lion remains calm but reacts on the second attempt. It growls angrily when the man tries to touch it for the second time.

After being posted, the video received over 893,000 views and nearly 32,000 Instagram users liked the clip. Internet users criticized the attempt as it could have resulted in a major mishap.

Reacting to the video, one user commented, “Indians and borders, a never ending story.” Another user said, “Imagine that thing jumping into the car.”

A third user wrote: “The reason women live longer than men.” Another Instagram user commented: “Lions are like this: mout se dar nahi lagta tere ko.” A fifth person wrote: “I wish the lion was in a bad mood. What a stupid move.”
