What happens in Vegas doesn’t always stay in the bank account, Machine Gun Kelly learned.

The 34-year-old musician performed with Jelly Roll during the country singer’s opening set for Morgan Wallen at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on Thursday, August 8, and revealed that he suffered a major gambling loss during his time in Sin City.

“I lost $50,000 playing blackjack tonight,” MGK told the crowd with a laugh, according to fan-shot footage, before jokingly asking for help: “Y’all need to stream ‘Lonely Road’ and make the money back.”

The rapper/rocker joined 39-year-old Jelly at the show and performed “Lonely Road,” the pair’s new collaboration, as well as a duet version of the CMA Award winner’s hit “Need a Favor.”

“I love you all. Thank you, Jelly, for letting me be a part of it,” said Machine Gun Kelly, whose real name is Colson Baker, on stage. “Peace out, cowboys and cowgirls.”

Jelly added, “Make some noise for one of my best friends, MGK. Thanks for coming baby. I love you Bubba. I love you so much Bubba.”

Both artists recently sang both songs as well as MGK’s “My Ex’s Best Friend” at the Good grief Star’s annual “MGK Day” celebration concert in his hometown of Cleveland on August 11. Other special guests during the show included Tee Grizzley and Travis Barker.

“Lonely Road”, an interpolation of John Denver’s classic “Take Me Home, Country Roads”, was released on July 26 and has since reached number 33 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Following the song’s release, MGK shared a photo of the duet partners on Instagram with a heartfelt caption. “Jelly, you are a living, breathing daredevil and a kindred spirit who showed me the path to redemption and what it looks like to believe in yourself against all odds,” he wrote.

The “Papercuts” artist continued, “From our fight 12 years ago to what we’re putting out now, I think is the biggest hit of our career. I’m proud to call you my brother and life feels better knowing you have my back.”

Earlier this month, MGK spoke to Jelly’s wife Bunnie Xo about their Stupid blonde Podcast and revealed that he is “completely sober” at the moment.

“I don’t drink anymore. I haven’t had a drink since last August,” he said. “That was the first time I went to rehab.”

Bunnie then recalled challenging MGK and Jelly to a drinking contest one night after filming the “Lonely Road” music video – not knowing he was sober. “That kills me because I just know I would have f***ing drunk that man under the table,” he said.
