Machine Gun Kelly and Randy Orton engage in a backstage confrontation at WWE SummerSlam

Machine Gun Kelly has a long history with WWE, having provided the official theme song for WrestleMania XXVII and even being powerbombed by Kevin Owens, but he did have a few curse words for Randy Orton backstage at SummerSLam.

Machine Gun Kelly was involved in WWE SummerSlam weekend, where he accompanied Logan Paul to the ring and took part in Logan’s match against LA Knight.

Before the event began at Cleveland Browns Stadium, MGK happened to meet Randy Orton. On the Impaulsive podcast with Logan Paul, MGK recalled his encounter with Orton and how he was reminded of past criticisms Orton had leveled at him. MGK mentioned that he was hesitant at first but then decided to stand up for himself.

Machine Gun Kelly noted that his friends were surprised by the confrontation and that people often mistakenly see him as the aggressor in such situations.

“I was in the ring and just came to Logan to see what we could work out for the show. I saw Randy Orton. I remember Randy Orton talking shit about me. At some point I was like, “I’m going to create a new version of myself. Three… two… one. Screw it. Man, screw you.”

“All my guys were sitting there (stunned). ‘Is this real? I don’t know what’s going on.’ The many people who label me as an aggressor in every situation are so wrong.”

Regardless, Machine Gun Kelly did what he thought was right at the time and he wouldn’t have wanted it any other way. Fortunately, the situation didn’t escalate any further and the FAS is happy about that.
