Mac Mini or Imac or update of the old Imac from 2009

Hi, I’m new to the group and looking for help deciding whether to buy a new iMac or another Mac Mini option with separate units. I’m currently using a 2009 with the specs below. Old, I know. But it would work fine for my daily use of email, travel planning and web searches, if not for the fact that some websites don’t load or support the old OS. 10.11.6. and recently my outgoing emails (Bell) aren’t sending. I think it’s trying to tell me something… time for the grave, lol

I may be traveling more in the future so the Mac Mini is tempting but I also like an all-in-one option. I guess I might buy a used MacBook for traveling. So based on how I use my machine for simple everyday stuff, can anyone give me some buying suggestions, i.e. even if I go for an iMac, what processor and memory do I need to make it last another 10 years or so like the one I’m using? Until then I don’t mind spending more money over the next 10 years anyway. (Plus I don’t game, just upload photos etc.) Thanks.
